As part of our commitment to quality and service, from time to time we appoint an independent auditing company to randomly survey our clients. The last time this was done in 2003 we achieved 96% customer satisfaction over all categories. So if you are here for the first time and are looking for a new contractor, why not contact us for a quotation?  You won't be disappointed. We have shown below a few of our more tricky projects which were covered in our last Customer Audit

Generator Upgrade - Peterborough
This project involved removing an existing 350kVA generator and 60kVA UPS and replacing them with a 550kVA generator along with a 120kVA UPS. All of the existing switchgear was replaced along with an up-grade to the building supply and sub main distribution. As the building was being used for fault monitoring, at no time could we shut down any services.  This project was completed without a single power outage.

Export House Woking
This project was for the design and installation of the complete IT infrastructure within a 15 storey building. It involved the installation of around 5,250 RJ45 ports, 260km of copper cable and 5km of fibre optic cable. The design also included five independent R&D Project Rooms that could be used by partner companies, three large independent Comms Rooms and the design and installation of the power distribution to the desks on the floors. The project was completed on time and within budget.

Call Centre Re-patch
The client brief for this project was to remove all of the existing patch leads, add a new cabinet at one end and migrate some of the existing patch panels into the new cabinet which would then allow space for vertical and horizontal cable management to be installed. This was all to be done whilst keeping a 400 position call centre live!

This project was completed during the night when staff levels were lower. All moved patch panels were re-patched and tested before the day shift started at 08:00. The project was a complete success and the final task was to re-fit the doors to the cabinets which had been standing up against the wall for years.

Generator Enclosure Extension
One of our clients needed to extend their generator enclosure to accommodate a new fuel tank. The picture on the left shows the existing enclosure and if you roll your mouse over the image you will see Photoshop visualisation of the proposed extension. Our design department has even air brushed out the cable drums! We often use these visualisations when applying for planning or Landlords approval as it often speeds up the approval process and saves site visits.
